Inclusion Team Teaching Assistant - Grade D (£20,493 – £23,080) FTE

       36.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year plus 3 training days

Job term: Permanent               Required from: ASAP

We are looking to recruit a talented Teaching Assistant to work in our Behaviour Recovery Centre and build on the fantastic work that has already been achieved there. They will provide support for inclusion staff, teachers and pastoral staff to maximise engagement of all students in school life. To work as part of the Inclusion Team, especially in the Behavioural Recovery Centre (BRC), support the key initiatives, help with the management and implementation of the Respect for Lipson Behaviour policy as part of the programmes that support access to learning for pupils.

EXAMINATION INVIGILATORS/READERS/SCRIBES

As and when required - £9.62 per hour

We are looking to increase our invigilator team by recruiting additional flexible, calm and organised individuals to undertake the responsible role of examination invigilation, readers and scribes.

You will be reliable and readily available during exam periods which include both external and internal series throughout the academic year. Exam periods run throughout November, January, March, April and the main period May to June. 

You will have effective communication skills, be confident and have a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms, together with the ability to give instructions and manage situations involving different groups of people. Due to exam sessions we require availability during the hours 8.30 am until 4 pm, with particular emphasis on morning examinations.

Invigilators will also be expected to assist students with additional needs by undertaking scribe and reading support during examinations. Full training will be provided.
