We are pleased to advise that we offer a communication (text, email and a range of services) service – ‘School Gateway’. This means that we can communicate with you more quickly and cost effectively via email, text and smartphone app. It also means that we’ll be securely sharing electronic copies of any future printed student reports for you to review.
If you have a smartphone, you can download the School Gateway app (Android and iPhone). Using the app means we can send you app messages that you can reply to at no cost.
Its quick and simple to do. All you need is your email address and mobile number that the academy holds on record for you. If you have trouble logging in, please call us on 01752 671318 and ask to speak with your child’s guild assistant. They will be able to check the details we have on record and make any amendments after some initial security checks.
If you don’t have a smartphone you can still access all of these features by logging into School Gateway from a PC, tablet or other web enabled device. You will also still be able to receive text messages from us on a standard mobile phone.
As well as providing simple message updates relating to attendance, progress and activities, the service also provides you with more effective methods of online payment for school meals and activities.
If you would like further support through the initial registration process or in the use of the app, you are welcome to contact our Data, Systems and Timetable Manager directly and arrange a convenient time to visit the academy.

If you need to update any of your contact information you can email a member of our student services team. The team will ask you to confirm some initial security questions prior to completing the update process.
