"An exceptional standard for trusted leadership."
"A culture of listening, empathy and evidence-informed decisions that help staff thrive and, ultimately, benefit pupils."
Two extremely valued and graciously accepted epithets from educational specialists Edurio, whose latest data-driven survey placed Lipson Academy at the very top of the best-led schools in the whole country.
Ted Wragg Trust member Lipson has just been named as one of five schools nationally to win the coveted and prestigious Edurio National Trusted Leadership Award, representing an exceptional standard for trusted leadership.
The honour was awarded following an analysis of staff feedback collected across 1,729 schools in England during the 2024-25 academic year.
Ernest Jenavs, CEO at Edurio, said: "When colleagues are confident that leaders understand their challenges, it reflects a culture of listening, empathy and evidence-informed decisions that help staff thrive and, ultimately, benefit pupils."
School staff face complex professional challenges every day. Leadership matters most when colleagues feel these realities are genuinely understood.
Edurio collaborate with educational organisations and educators who share their mission and strive for continuous improvement to provide education leaders with clarity on what matters most. In the last academic year, their school surveys supported almost 400,000 pupils, parents and school staff.
They use their datasets to produce national analysis and insights to drive important discussions in education. As established thought leaders, they have become a trusted partner in the sector.
