Our Trust of Schools

Sixth Form - Curriculum Offer

Thanks to our excellent array of academic courses including A-Levels, Applied General Qualifications (BTECs/CTECs) as well as a diverse selection of vocational and work related courses we aim to meet the needs and interests of all students.

Students follow individually tailored study programmes which combine all of the following elements:

  • A range of academic, applied or vocational qualifications that stretch students and prepare them for further or higher education, apprenticeships or employment
  • Work experience, both extended and block placements, offering young people the opportunity to explore their career choices and to apply their skills in real work environments.
  • GCSE English and Mathematics resit examinations if students have not yet achieved a GCSE grade 4 or wish to improve their grade for entry to some university courses and employment opportunities.
  • A range of non-qualification activities so as to develop students’ wider skills, attitudes and confidence. This can include timetabled enrichment opportunities, residentials, university progression initiatives, subject specific visits and trips.
